Holstep Health is looking to recruit a highly motivated, and skilled Podiatrist able to deliver high-quality, person-centred Podiatry services to our community.

This is a great opportunity to work in a professional and supportive team-based environment alongside other experienced podiatrists and health care professionals including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Dietitians.

Work with all aged groups from 0-100+ in all aspects of podiatry including biomechanics, nail surgery, diabetes and aged care.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

To provide appropriate and relevant home and centre-based Podiatry services (assessments and treatments) to meet the needs of all members of the Holstep Health Community.

Your motivation, interpersonal skills, and expertise as a Podiatrist will see you excel in this role as you:

• Provide clinical services to clients of all ages and abilities

• Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

What you will need:

• Podiatry qualifications and full AHPRA registration

• Experience in working with people from all ages and CALD backgrounds

• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills

• Driver's licence

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Integrate information from multiple sources to form a comprehensive assessment regarding client complexity and diagnosis (as relevant to the practice context) and the individual-specific, psychosocial factors that may influence successful care and decision making

• Formulate, implement and document an effective and tailored management plan/intervention for the client

• Evaluate the management plan/intervention/group for effectiveness, efficiency and quality, and accurately document the outcomes

• Modify the treatment/intervention as appropriate to the complexity of the client's presentation and vary the treatment as necessary to meet the client's changing needs

• Evaluate the evidence from literature and research to determine appropriate actions for practice

• Establish, maintain and value professional relationships with other service providers, and work to understand their role and capacities in the provision of each client's care

• Engage team members and other relevant healthcare professionals in the development and implementation of strategies that meet specific client care needs

• Identify when change is needed, and advocate for effective ways in which appropriate change can be achieved

• Examine own values, beliefs, communication style and experiences to develop a deep understanding of how these may influence behaviour and action in the workplace, and act to manage any negative influences

• Complete tasks on time and in a self-directed manner, acting within own knowledge base and scope of practice

• Use self-reflection techniques effectively to enhance care provision and interpersonal relationships within the service

• Identify personal and professional development needs, and plan and implement strategies for achieving these

• Provide effective supervision to Allied Health Assistants as appropriate

• Contribute to the education and development of others, as appropriate to own role and level of experience

• Initiate and lead peer-supervision processes that focus on supporting clinical practice and building on excellence
